Travel to Tokyo
via Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport)
Keikyu line or Tokyo monorail takes you to Tokyo station in about 25 minutes. Please check the web site of Tokyo international airport (Haneda airport) for details. You can also check a train route finder to take a train from “Haneda-Airport International Terminal”.
via Narita International Airport
The easiest way from Narita International Airport to Tokyo is to take a Narita Express (or N’EX in short). Trains run every 30 minutes during most of the day, and take you to Tokyo in 60 minutes.

Travel to Kyoto
from Tokyo to Kyoto
Shinkansen runs from Tokyo to Kyoto frequently. A 140-minutes ride will take you to Kyoto. From JR Kyoto Station, you have two choices.
- By Kyoto city bus:
A route map is available from the web site. Take bus #206 and get off at “Kyodai Seimon-mae”, or take bus #17 and get off at “Hyakumanben.” It takes about 30 minutes. - By Taxi:
It takes about 20 minutes to Kyoto University, and costs about 2,000 yen.
Clock tower centennial hall (the venue of Satellite Kyoto WS) is located on the main campus (Yoshida campus). The campus map will help you.
Travel from Kyoto (via Tokyo)
You can go back to JR Tokyo station by Shinkansen, and take N’EX to Narita International Airport. If you are going to Tokyo International airport (Haneda Airport), it is better to get off at “JR Shinagawa station” and take the Keikyu-Line.
Travel from Kyoto (via Kansai International Airport)
JR airport express Haruka runs from JR Kyoto Station to Kansai international airport. It takes about 75 minutes. Please check the web site of Kansai international airport for details.
