Guide for Simple Ways to Get the Conference Place from Airports
There are various ways to get to the conference places from NARITA or HANEDA airports, and a standard web transportation guide often shows you a rather complicated way. Below would be the simplest (but could be a bit slower) ways to get to the conference places (both GAKUSHI KAIKAN and HITOTSUBASHI HALL).
From NARITA airport to JIMBOCHO station:
1. Use KEISEI NARITA line (Sky access express to HANEDA airport)
=== NARITA AIRPORT –> MITA
2. Change to MITA line at MITA station (OOTEMACHI(Tokyo) direction)
=== MITA –> JINBOCHO
From HANEDA airport to JIMBOCHO station:
1. Use KEIKYU line (SHINAGAWA direction)
=== HANEDA AIRPORT –*1–> SHINAGAWA –*2–> MITA
2. Change to MITA line at MITA statoin (OOTEMACHI(Tokyo) direction)
=== MITA –> JINBOCHO
Remark for *1, *2: Precisely speaking, KEIKYU line is *1, and *2 is called ASAKUSA metro line, but trains often go directrly to MITA. (Otherwise, you can simply use the next coming train to continue to MITA.)
Another Option: From TOKYO station
The conference place is about 25 min. walk from a MARUNOUCHI exit of TOKYO station. You can also take a taxi, in which case you had better ask to get to GAKUSHI KAIKAN because drivers know it better.
(Simple ways to get to TOKYO station from airports)
From NARITA airport
Use JR line (either NARITA EXPRESS or a standard express)
=== Airport station –> TOKYO
From HANEDA airport
1. Use TOKYO MONO-RAIL line (HAMAMATSUCHO direction)
=== HANEDA AIRPORT —> HAMAMATSUCHO
2. Change to JR YAMANOTE line
=== HAMAMATSUCHO –> TOKYO
Have a safe and smooth trip!
